Time For Reflection… Thursday, August 14th 2014 Day 12

The War Memorial Washington, D.C.
Distance: 12.83 Miles
Pedaling Time: 1 Hours 28 Minutes
Avg Speed: 8.7
Real Time: 2 Hours 17 Minutes

Today's ride was certainly less intense than that of yesterday, as I rode through the city and generally took it easy. I chose to ride down on the National Mall and took pictures as I rode. For all interested, the Mall is approximately 1 mile and has a gravel road to run, walk or ride on. There are all types of events and games down there to watch or perhaps take part in, from softball to kickball, football to soccer, whatever is your pleasure I'm sure you will be able to find it there. There are also a bunch of museums such as the Smithsonian or my favorite, the Sculpture Garden that are there at your disposal. My suggestion is to simply make a day out of it by leaving early and parking your bike just to walk around and enjoy a good time.

Today's ride was all about reflection, when I woke up and went to Facebook, I noticed that a friend had posted a video from Jim Carrey and that got me going immediately. I wrote something on my opinion blog and would love to share it with you. All you need to do is hit this link.
